I Carry You With Me

March 24th, 2015 · No Comments

I Carry You With Me

When moon shadows hang over me,
and time slips the night away.
My thoughts recall the Blessing,
of Ecstasy of yesterday.

The touch of your lips upon my skin,
your soft hands caress my breasts.
Your whispers, soothing to my ears,
aww such Blessings of happiness.

Sadness haunts my weeping soul,
as memory recollects many quiet eves.
Your image my mind infinitely holds,
as your sweetest words never deceived.

Though I can not see you standing there,
or feel the warmth of your skin.
I know your spirit is with me here,
may beautiful sounds delight the wind.

Ageless Love…Never stop loving

March 23rd, 2015 · No Comments

Melvina222

Closed minds, lost freedom, oh my! who are we listening too. The young places their hands over their ears when an old person speaks of love making. Granma, don’t talk about that lol. Many youngsters assume that love making has an expiry date…really?

We are like fine wine, the juice becomes sweeter with time. Take it long, take it slow, let your feelings mellow, let your pleasure grow. Become intoxicated with the moment, savor the taste, melt in ecstasy ummm there’s no time to waste.

In our golden years, there’s no time for games, every loving moment we have is a treasure and one perhaps we choose never to forget. We enjoy the little things, a fresh picked flower from the garden, a whisper of love in our ears, a soft touch while sitting and gazing into each others eyes. We love walking, holding hands, standing in the drizzling rain, smiling at each other because we can. You see we know time is short and tomorrow may never come. We bask in the moment, feeling our heart beat like soothing drums, sighing, melting into each other becoming one.

Love has no expiry, making love is beautiful and can be surreal. Let your imagination soar and begin your foreplay long before you walk through that door. Think of something sweet to say, softly touch the skin on her face, gently run your fingers through her hair, whisper sweetly in her ear and reap the benefits everywhere.

Enjoy life people and remember as Tammy Fay Baker would say…it’s not over till it’s over…Hugz to all…Melvina

Melvina’s / Do it yourself tricks

March 23rd, 2015 · No Comments

S

Did you know: When boiling hard boiled eggs. Add a half teaspoon of baking soda to the water and the shell will remove must easier. Try it, it works.

To remove the yoke of an egg, wanting to use only the egg white or just the yoke. Simply take a small water bottle and hold the mouth of the bottle
over the egg yoke and it will suck it up into the bottle. I haven’t tried this one but will later today and come back with my findings.

SolutionsI’ve paid my dues, dealing with our Alberta weather. Having to purchase
bags of salt to keep my walk slippery free. Here’s a tid bit for you
to try, it certainly works for me.

icy

Recipe:

For icy steps and sidewalks in freezing temperatures, mix 1 teaspoon of
Dawn dish washing liquid, 1 tablespoon fo rubbing alcohol, and 1/ 2 gallon
hot/warm water and pour over walkways. They won’t freeze, I must say I
used Palmolive dish washing liquid and received the same results.

Save Money, Save time
De Ice Car Windshields

Recipe: Purchase a bottle of 70% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol (50%) works as well, but not as effectively. Use a few drops of dish soap. Apply liberally to the glass with a spray bottle. (Also it is recommended adding alcohol to the washer fluid container, with a 50/50 mix to keep wiper lines from freezing up in the winter. Spray it on after you park your car and you will always come out to clear windows, nice one eh? Warning…This is alcohol, so keep away from fire, if you smoke, keep your spray bottle away from you. Also in the house, keep alcohol out of your bathroom, especially if you use candles during your bath or if you smoke in the bathroom. If you use alcohol to tighten your pores, put it in a safe area. A good rule is don’t smoke in your bathroom, a beauty Queen learned the hard way. The good thing is, she lived to tell the story and save others months of torturous pain.

How about this one

Home made Ice packs

You can freeze alcohol and water in a zip lock bag to get a shapeable ice pack and will be able to mold it to the painful area of the body for comfort. The alcohol keeps the water from freezing. You will get a slush, sort of slurpie effect. No need to spend money with these nifty ideas. Those suffering with rheumatoid arthritis and the constant swollen joints, these ice packs are amazing and freeze up in 20 minutes so you can change every 20 minutes.

Summary…With the two, there will be no need to purchase many bags of salt. Also no need to purchase gel bags for your sore knee and the like. You’re saving money again. ba

How to heat a small room and save money

I was amazed with this next tid bit. How to heat up a small room or office
space with the use of candles and two clay, flower pots and a metal loaf pan.
Here goes…Place a metal loaf pan on a safe surface, open side up, line it
with 4 tea lite candles, light them with a match or lighter. Take a small approx.
6 inch pot placed on top of the loaf pan, turned upside down, place a metal
disk in the hole of the pot to block it so as to trap the air. This works on
convection. Now take a large pot and place it over the small pot allowing
the warm air to build and circulate which will begin to warm up your small area.
The small pot on the inside gets very hot, while the large pot is warm and
not as hot. Note these candles burn for approx. 4 hours so use in the morning
and in the afternoon. You can heat a small room for a cost of 15 cents a day.

Another tid bit, unplug and save the juice. Every small appliance, a toaster
and such, unplug it if its not in use. It’s called phantom electricity, while
plugged in it is still using up power whether the item is in use or not. Seal
up those small open spaces and stop heating up the outside, blowing all that
money out the door. Any large or small appliance you purchase should be energy
efficient and think about the type of light bulbs you are using, research and
make sure their saving your hard earned money. That’s my tid bit for saving on
power.

Dawn dishwashing liquid & Peroxide…STAIN REMOVER

Works on every stain apparently, give it a try !!!

Recipe below:

1 tsp. Dawn dishwashing detergent
3-4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide
couple tablespoons of baking soda.
Scrub on with a scrubbing brush.

Voila…no more stain…..

FOG FREE CAR WINDOWS AND SKI GOGGLES

Take a look…..

Fog free windows or goggles

3 Steps

1. Cut a clean potato in half
2. Rub one half on the window/ use second half if necessary
3. Let it dry

If it is a large window and you need more, simply slice the potato
and continue to use. When skiing, take a half potato in a plastic
baggie and do the same with your ski goggles. Nice & easy and it
works.

Teeth

SNOW WHITE TEETH

I found this information, though realize, I have not tried this yet, but will do shortly and let you know after a couple of weeks what I think.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR TEETH ‘SNOW WHITE’
-Put a tiny bit of toothpaste into a
small cup,
mix in one teaspoon baking soda
plus one
teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide, and
half a
teaspoon water.
Thoroughly mix then brush your
teeth for two minutes. Remember to
do it once a week until you have
reached the results you want. Once
your teeth are good and white, limit
yourself to using the
whitening treatment once every
month or two

And So I Dream

Do I repent my thoughts of you,
these wondrous jewels of crystal blue.
Must I suppress those inner feelings,
and thirst the thirst of royal juice.

My words are mine, my thoughts divine,
I torture not the sight of you.
My rainbow curves around your being,
and you become a glorious scene.

Held within the valley of no pain,
thoughts of you have infinitely gained,
The thickened syrup of life’s flesh fountain,
have trailed the slippery slope.

O as my imagination soars, my thoughts
create a diva’s roar. I laugh with the intensity
of a Queen as you have given me my crown.
My radiant smile, my pleasing sigh, my tranquil
moment, my inner high. I bask in ecstasy as
my thoughts of you abound.

So I live this lonely life, of which I shall not
change. Thoughts of you have granted me
pleasure and always within my range. I fear
no implications, I hurt no one at best. I dare
say, solace I have found, it seems I’ve past
life’s test.

Your name, I’ll not unveil, tis I who knows of
whom I speak, the character of my tales.
I shall dream on a lonely winters night,
dreams of warmth within your embrace.
Whispering within your ear, only words for
me to hear.

As I Think Of You

Drifting carelessly upon the fields of despair,
lusting foolishly of what I can never have.
Secretly adoring a face within the crowd.
Screaming inwardly, as anxiety stings with
pain. Longing feverishly, over and over
again…..

I Know “YOU”

There you are standing in the raw,
your flesh loose like jelly, a tattoo
that lost its shape.

Your belly folds around the middle where
you can hide your wrinkled hands.
Your hair white as snow with a bald spot
shiny and smooth, but your eyes are eyes
of royal blue, and your smile fit for a king.
When you open your mouth to speak
I hear the Angels sing.

Though your body is no longer strong and hard,
and the firmness of your grip is gone.
I see the man who lives inside,
I feel the gentleness of your soul.

O come to me, my man in the raw,
come squeeze me and hold me tight.
Let me rest upon your chest and feel,
your heartbeat through the night.

I pray to God, we see another day to
gaze into each others eyes, to lift a
cup of warm held tea, to look to the
sky of tranquility.

I pray together we share such things
and enjoy each breath we take. When its
time to softly close earths door, soon we’ll
be together again, behind God’s spiritual
gate.

Manipulation…Recognize It

March 23rd, 2015 · No Comments

Before I tell you one of my experiences with manipulation, I think we first must clearly understand what manipulation is. Clearly it is the management of the mind, put into force by those who are so calculated and often extremely controlling. They know you better than you know yourself, they act on your vulnerabilities, your needs materialistically perhaps, your lack of attention, love, your loneliness and so on.

Some manipulators are masters of what I call their crafty art, yes indeed. They are very skillful, extremely controlling, quite patient and confident that they will succeed in their quest. Arrogance plays a roll as well and sometimes it is that arrogance that pulls the plug on them. Many manipulators are people with a lot of money, so it is not your money they are after, no it’s your soul they wish to own for a time and willing to pay for it, at your expense. You know, back in the day, way back and even now I’m sure, their were people who had entry to palaces and government buildings, who mingled as if they belonged, were well known but no one really knew who they were. They often shared in intimate gatherings, and spent much time conversing with the hierarchy, smooth, intelligent people who knew how to handle themselves in close situations with people of high standard. Many very intelligent people who have been victimized by the art of manipulation.

I remember President Kennedy wondering how a certain person got into and actually sat at the front where many officials could not get a seat but this gentleman was always there and was very well know but no one really knew who he was. I would like to read about this particular person, I picked that up in a TV interview quite some time ago.

Manipulation can be a beast as it blankets much evil, brainwashing, actually changing the way a person thinks, their attitudes and behavior totally distorted. Drugs and physical abuse can destroy ones mind, leaving them with a lifetime of trauma. Personally I’ve always thought “shock treatment” was a form of physical abuse and extremely manipulative. I’ve seen patients before and after and they were totally disoriented and couldn’t remember who I was. At the time, I felt those people though in a legal mental institution were in fact being victimized.

Manipulation is present in adolescence on, some youngsters manipulate very well, however they don’t really understand that what they are doing is considered wrong until they are taught. Babies in fact, don’t manipulate Mom’s, crying is their way of communicating. Manipulation is present in all races, among the poor and the rich. The difference is how it is illustrated, the small time thug, perhaps is quick talking, shifty eyed, liars. Quite often it is their body language that gives them away. A relatively smart person will figure them out in no time at all.

Beware however, of the smooth talking, debonair or beautiful person who slowly penetrates you, gaining your trust. Manipulation under duress is brutal. This form literally forces people to do what they know will affect them adversely. Getting a person when they are down, the signing of documentation etc. The calculating, the mind games, wearing a person down. This is cruel and disgusting but the manipulator doesn’t care, his or her only concern is to have things go the way they want.

Often whole countries are manipulated by those of other countries where the manipulator is paid large to go into a country, bring the country to a high where everybody is happy and then pull the plug. Read the book called: Confessions of an economic hit man…Now that’s quite an eye opener of what manipulation is all about. I’ll stop here. This is a time where you must read and educate yourself in order to protect you and your family.

Below, I explain one small experience I had with manipulation. I had a work experience that just blew me away, I watched one man control several, it was amazing. I’ll share that situation another time.
My Experience
I really felt the need to share this with you. I think I’ve met the devil and by golly it’s a “woman”. Don’t beat me up! This person was so smooth, with those devious eyes trying to appear so dam sweet. I’ve known this person for a little while now and wondered about her. I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and didn’t want to judge her. Having said that, when you are trying to hurt someone I truly love or care about and I pick up on it…look out! I sat and listened to what I believe is a form of grave evil without lifting a finger, she was throwing it out. All in body language, hurtful, yet very soft words, the pretense to care. Now what this evil witch didn’t realize was her eyes were totally giving her away and my inner self was rumbling with that fearful feeling. I was becoming sick while sitting listening to her and when I got up to walk away, I was weak and almost fell down. Truly I was touched by an evil hand without her physically touching me. Never have I had anyone try to do such a job of manipulation on me only to have me be the person who finishes her intent by carrying it out on someone else. In other words this woman was trying to use me to hurt someone else, but in essence doing her best to make it appear that she cares. Always look into peoples eyes when you speak to them, the eyes never lie. If you become nervous, fearful and sick, you are in the company of evil, beware. Today I will meet with the person that is the true target and hope that I can express precisely what is going on. This person is very smart and I’m sure will see immediately as it will answer many questions for them. Listen to the “you” and let your body unfold the truth to manipulation. This is a very powerful word “manipulation” don’t get swallowed up in those who think they are the masters of it…..

Manipulation by: Sherry Ibidi

Here is a piece by Sherry Ibid…Ladies you need to read this as I know many can relate…..Controllers/narcissist’s share in such abuse…..

MANIPULATION By: Sherry Ibidi

I think I was a teen when I started to realize what Manipulation was. It can start out very subtly almost like you don’t even know it is happening.
Some people use manipulation for innocent reasons, like a child who wants a sweet treat. This is probably the first time people start to use the procedure. In most cases probably harmless and most can see that is what is going on.
When it goes beyond some harmless action like that of a child for a treat, that is when it is not good.

Manipulation is like greed, one of the seven deadly sins. It is very addictive to the user and can promote harmful relationships.

My Grandfather manipulated my Grandmother. He beat her up and broke her arm and hurt her badly many times. He lost control of his temper and struck out at the kids as well. The last time he beat up my Mom was when she was 15.

Mom left home shortly after that and got married at 16. By the time she was 19 she had two kids. I was the 2nd child.

My Dad was manipulative as well. My Mother was manipulative in a different way. All very controlling.

I was lucky to get by in my marriages and relationships with out a broken arm, but just the same I was controlled by each person.

At first you don’t realize that you are being controlled. Then the pattern starts. You have to report your actions and how much money you spent. They can buy what ever they want when they want. Even if you have a job and have your own income they manipulate the situation and somehow you end up spending your money on them instead of your self or for things like food and clothes for your self and the kids.

He got scuba diving lessons and hunting trips while I had to go to the 2nd hand store to get clothes for the kids.

Why do you put up with it? Why do you let them control and manipulate them.

The game goes like this:

They tell you that you do not need this or that. They tell you that you are a failure and you are not worthy.

You believe it. They are so charismatic that you have then lost all control. You have little or no contacts or people to support you. You have no one else to tell you that you are wonderful.

Next thing you know you are trapped and have no way out.

Finally something clicks. This is the very volatile part.
You can run and get help or you can act in a way that can hurt yourself or your family.

They may beat you up and somehow you believe that you deserved that beating. The next day they bring you flowers and candy and beg you to take them back. You belive it and the game starts over again.

Fortunately for myself I was able to get help. I thank God every day that I was prompted to get help in a way that saved myself and my kids.

Unfortunately I had such a bad self esteem, little education beyond high school to support my self and the kids. Also I am disabled, so I did not have the educational help I needed.

Unfortunately it took me until I was in my 50’s to realize that I made the same mistake in my choosing these manipulative men for a companion.

Fortunately I was able to go to school for the blind and college and graduate. I had a very good job and supported myself very well in the last 7 years of my work history.

Now I am retired. I am no longer married.
I know I am worthy, smart, accomplished in many areas of art and computer science. I know that I have four beautiful children who are smart adults. I have six grand kids that are a joy to watch grow up. Two of them are already 18.

I know that I have many friends whom I can talk to and know they will support me when I am blue or need prayers.

I did not know that I had all that when I was young.

Make sure you know you have that support – that you are not trapped. There is always help and support. Don’t let yourself get isolated. There is also a loving Heavenly Father who loves you unconditionally.

My Date With Racism

March 23rd, 2015 · No Comments

My Date Wtih Racism (True Story)

The day was a treat and so exciting too. Taken to a place
you never dreamed you’d ever be invited too. However,
soon evil would rear it’s ugly head and your heart became
heavy as if beaten down with lead.

It’s lovely how the mind stores the beautiful things away
and pulls them nicely while enjoying a peaceful day. But
every now and then darkness will protrude and sting like
a bee, and the mind is ripped open so you can boldly see.

The voice of racism creeps its way into your mind , trying
its best to push your beautiful thoughts behind. You ponder
for awhile on that place you wish you never went. A mask
held tightly over a huge local event. O how to deceive the
masses and veiled, covered talent. A smile, an invitation,
a shake of the hand and that glory of fame rules.

We dance like puppets when we want to get in the door,
allowing power to put us down so much more. Compassion
seems lost in those you thought so high, and one finds
out how small that tower can shrink from God’s azure sky.
Yes one sits bemused with much time to retreat and think.

You wonder, why did God allow this snake to bite you again.
After years of peace and the most beautiful long time friends.
That blasted hand of racism came to visit you on a day of
supposed fun, but you were chased like an animal with weak
voices following orders and you and a new friend were on the
run. Coming down from the mask wearer of bold supremacy,
one may have no idea how vile and cruel racism can truly be.

With all the ugliness and the horror of the day. A Black Angel,
so beautiful and kind, filled with compassion and love straight
from the heart, does his best to give you comfort right from the
start. You realize God has placed a trickle of light to see you
through and you take a deep breath knowing God’s Angel is
there with you. O He sent you more than one on that dark,
dismal day, and taught you a great lesson which stopped you
in your tracks, as the light bulb grew brighter you knew you
must take a few steps back.

So I thank the spirits in the cosmos most high and the
glittering stars that soar so beautifully in the sky. Without God’s
continuous beauty and His gentle fingers on my soul. I may
have been lost from the light and fell to darkness in a deep
and endless hole.
